Red but secretly Green Smoothie


1/2 cup milk

1/2 banana (can be frozen)

1/2 cup raspberries

10 cashews

1/4 cup chia seeds (soaked in milk for 5 min prior)

4 fresh spinach leaves

8 mint leaves

1/2c water or coconut water

  1. Blend first 4 ingredients in a blender until smooth
  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend on high until well blended.
  3. Depending on your consistency preferences- you may like to add more milk or water
  4. Can add greens powder of choice to increase nutrient value

This is a great smoothie that includes a good amount of spinach- but you wouldn’t even know! Perfect for kids or people opposed to ‘green smoothies’. This one actually tastes more like banana and raspberry- with a hint of mint for freshness.
